Decorated with a delicate crystalline yellow colour with green reflections, the Saint Cyprien 2018 invites you to taste it. The first nose is an aromatic explosion, a freshness mixing hawthorn, boxwood and white peach.
On the palate, the attack is lively, the white peach is crunchy supported by a very fine bitterness and a touch of lemon that enhances this intense and charming mouth.
The finish is very tense and gives way to these delicate floral and sweet aromas, the length in the mouth is exceptional.
Tasting notes, carried out by Frère Marie, cellar master.
Vintage 2018, tasted in December 2018, brut de fût and vat, en primeurs.
A beautiful deep red colour.
The nose is very expressive with a beautiful palette of oriental spices and ripe fruit.
The palate is well built, centred and without tannic firmness.

The year 2018 was marked by a very dry spring and summer. The good weather conditions allowed a good flowering and fruit setting. The scorching temperatures from June onwards led to a reduction in sanitary pressure, and the deep clay soils of the Saint Honorat island allowed the scorching summer to pass without any major symptoms of hydric stress. The grapes ripened early, the harvest was relatively early, but thanks to careful sorting by the pickers, the harvest, although small, produced powerful and rich wines in the cellar.
