Tasting notes
Directed by Brother Marie, Cellar Master
Vintage 2016 tasted in August 2015 brut de fus and vats, en primeurs.
The year 2016 is characterized by good rainfall in winter, but low from spring and a sunny summer without being excessively hot during July, August. However, the very hot days in September were an ordeal for the pickers. The rare rains in April favoured a good development of flowers on the vines. The harvest was larger than the previous year, with a later maturity but a good sanitary state.

A beautiful robe with an intense red color.

The nose is very expressive with a beautiful palette of oriental spices and ripe fruits.

The mouth is well built, centered and without tannic firmness.
