A garnet color with purple reflections adorns this cuvée. The first deep and greedy nose makes us travel, reminiscences of cherry, fig, licorice and leather intermingle.
The ample attack quickly switches to a freshness balanced by an opulent tannic structure, whose generosity is matched only by its finesse.
The persistence of this aromatic oriented on sour cherry, plum and a subtle note of venison. The highlight is a generous, round and suave finish.

2022 was a year full of challenges for the Mediterranean region Mediterranean region and for France. The winter of 2022 was mild, with little precipitation and drought will be the hallmarks of the year.
While vegetative growth was strong in the spring the lack of water slowed it down. On a positive note no cryptogamic disease pressure, but for the first year the yield was reduced by the this lack of water.
With the heat, the harvest was very early.
We started picking on 9 August the Pinot Noir grapes, and by 31 August all the grapes were in vats. We usually finish in the second half of September.
Bringing the harvest forward enabled us to stay within known parameters of sugar and acidity and to produce some fine cuvées.
The small number of highly concentrated grapes combined with and meticulous work in the cellar have produced a fine vintage quality of the vintage, with remarkable aromatic complexity.
